Last night was night two of PHX FW and a party it was! I was reunited with my blogging bestie Brie (best part) and we had a blast meeting the designers, looking at the local boutiques, and mingling with other oh so fabulous Phoenix bloggers. Seriously I had no idea there are so many wondering bloggers in AZ, and to have them all together in one place is just like Christmas morning! (ok maybe not quite that exciting, but close!)
Brie and I arrived at Talking Stick Resort around 5:30 to snap some outfit pics before the night started. That was easier in our minds than reality, everything was blocked off for the show so we settled for this alley type location. During my outfit shoot I felt a little rip on my shoe, I looked down and to no surprise the toe strap had broken on my shoes!!!! The show hadn't even started yet which meant I had all night with a broken shoe = this will be rough!
The show kicked off with Robert Black, a local Arizona designer who's line was a mixture of 50's and southwest feel. It was the perfect kick off to the night. I only snapped a few pics with my camera but you can see some videos from his show on my Instagram @SteshaRose
Next we had The Shawl Dawls which was a very fashion forward way to display their shawls that can be worn multiple ways! Super interesting and creative way to showcase their more simple items! Take a look....
And my favorite show of the night was from the contestant currently on Project Runway, Mr. Brandon McDonal! All of his pieces blew me away, the detail was amazing, and it flowed perfectly. I can't wait to get my hands on some of these pieces!
During the show, Miss Amy looks over and says (about the middle dress), "That's a C&B dress if I have ever seen one!" Yes, his whole collection I would wear in a heart beat!
I don't think I need words for this finale dress it speaks for it's self!
bad pic but had to show, Mr. Brandon McDonald!
3rd row with no one behind us meant we could be as crazy as we want!
