Summer time is all about light eating + cold desserts! Let's face it, no one wants to be weighed down with an over stuffed belly when bikini's are our essential outfits. Fruits + veggies are easy to chop up & throw into a cooler for your days at the beach or pool while frozen drinks are fun to make. I have turned to frozen lemonade + cherries for my day time snacking. I grab a bowl of cherries and take it with me e v e r y w h e r e. Cherrie orchards are all around the Okanagan, so I run down and pick up a fresh batch to snack on all week! Other fresh yummies are guac with some salsa, frozen drinks of any kind, and of course ice cream cones. If anyone has any great recipes or or fun drinks let me know, I am always looking for new treats!
